For Vanessa....For Her Family.
2 weeks ago I found out from one of my best friends, Vanessa, that her aunt was diagnosed with Breast Cancer right around Thanksgiving. I love her and I love her whole family. This news was something that I was not ready for, I can't imagine the way it hit their whole family-let alone Aunt Neen! Talking to Vanessa about this just made me realize more and more that this walk is something that I NEED to do. I NEED to end this so that we can be sure our future is FREE of Breast Cancer! It is so hard for me to hear the stories of those who have been affected in some way, shape or form. I almost did not sign up for 2011....and the more I think about it....the more I am so happy that I decided to do it again. Blisters dont need Chemo. I am thankful that I have my health, that I CAN do this. I CAN help raise money and I CAN help find a cure. Walking in the Breast Cancer 3 Day is something that I look forward to. Its a weekend of family/friends who know what the whole journey feels like....from loss to hope to health to cure...and most important...our Survivors. We all support one another....Can you imagine a world without Breast Cancer?? I can.Never Deprive Someone of Hope...It May be all they Have
